Our first CPS Flock Walk will be held outside around the UF campus. This is a family-friendly event with other activities! Join us and walk with your family, friends, and neighbors to support LOCAL cancer patients!
Registration will begin at 9:30am and the walk will be kicked off with a lap from local, community survivors at 10:30am. The event will include walking, inflatables, yard games and more! Celebrations and awards will begin 12:00 pm.
Donnell Broadway Concert Series
University of Findlay’s Donnell Broadway Concert Series featuring Award-winning Broadway star Jenn Colella.
Ticket Information:
Tickets are $30 for adults, $27 for senior citizens, $10 for non-UF students, and free for UF students, faculty, and staff with valid University ID. Tickets can be purchased at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts box office at 200 W. Main Cross St., or online at MCPA’s website.
Jenn Colella is an MFA Acting graduate of UC Irvine, who just ended a sold-out run in “SUFFS” as Carrie Chapman Catt at The Public Theatre, for which she garnered an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination. Colella starred in the Tony Award-winning smash hit musical “Come From Away” as Beverley/Annette and others, in a performance that garnered her 2017 Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk Awards and a 2017 Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, as well as Craig Noel, Helen Hayes and Dora Awards for pre-Broadway productions of “Come From Away.”
Colella won a Grammy Award for her work on the “Dear Evan Hansen” cast recording. She has been previously seen on Broadway in “If/Then,” “Chaplin,” “High Fidelity,” and “Urban Cowboy” (Outer Critics Circle Award nomination). Off-Broadway, Colella was in “Beebo Brinker Chronicles,” “Lucky Guy,” “Slut,” and “Closer Than Ever.” Colella’s select regional credits include “Come From Away” (La Jolla Playhouse, Ford’s Theatre, Toronto), “Peter Pan” (Sacramento Music Circus & PCLO), and “Side Show” (Kennedy Center).
TV credits include “Feed the Beast,” “Elementary,” “All My Children,” “Rescue Me,” “The Good Wife,” “The Code,” “Madam Secretary,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” and “Evil.” She has been seen on film in “Uncertainty” with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and stars in the live capture film of “Come From Away” on Apple TV+.

“Who Will Be a Witness?”
In this talk, Dr. Drew G. I. Hart will explore the domesticated and distorted witness western Christendom has produced, with particular concern with its colonial child, white supremacy. However, this lecture won’t stay at the level of critical analysis of the problem and instead will gesture us forward into a Jesus-shaped, prophetic, and grassroots witness that is committed to justice for the most vulnerable while participating in God’s delivering presence. Hart draws on his experience as a pastor, professor, antiracism leader, and his local community organizing work, coupled with his extensive understanding of social change theory and theological ethics. Through the use of story, scripture, history, and personal experience the audience will be invited to put on their blue jeans and join God’s nonviolent social revolution from the underside of society in solidarity with all those who have had their backs against the wall.

This event is designed to help employers meet their full-time, part-time, co-op, and internship needs from a diverse set of majors within the College of Business, the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences, and the College of Sciences. (Open to all UF students.)

Interviews: 1-4 p.m./30-minute intervals

The Human Library Event is sponsored by Findlay Hancock County Public Library, the Mazza Museum, and the Center for Teaching Excellence. Participants will have the opportunity to “check out” human “books” within the Mazza Museum and hear the lived experiences of others. The event is free and open to the public.
The Human Library is an event that aims to address people’s prejudices by helping them to talk to those they would not normally meet. The event uses a library analogy of lending people rather than books. Join Sigma Tau Delta and the Social Work Club in learning about others! Free shirts and snacks will be provided.
