Come to our last ACT! SPEAK! BUILD! Week! event – BOX CITY! This is our annual event! Teams of 4 will sign up to build a structure out of cardboard boxes based on a given real-life scenario to base their structure off of. Building takes place from 8am to 1:30pm, then from 2pm to 4pm it will be open to the public! This will allow conversation between the public and the students on their structure and why they built it the way they did. From 4pm-5pm our Hancock County Affiliate will then educate the public and students on Habitat. The event will close to the public at 5pm and students will then have pizza & prepare to stay overnight in their structures. They must stay overnight in order to be eligible for the prizes at the end of the event. Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. This event will conclude our week long events on Sunday the 14th at 8am! Come to have a great time with friends, learn more about Habitat, and interacting with our Findlay community!
