Something wonderful this way comes! Get in the Halloween spirit and see the wizardry and witchcraft of Harry Potter come to life at the University of Findlay Newhard Planetarium on Oct. 19, 2019.

This show will detail the many connections that some of the well-known series characters have with constellations, asteroids, planetoids, moons, and other objects found in our night sky. For example, Harry’s godfather, Sirius Black, has a type of magic which enables him to turn into a dog. What you may not know: Sirius is also the name of the brightest star in the sky and is part of the Canis Maximus constellation, which is shaped like a dog. You will learn more about Sirius and other characters like Draco, Luna, Bellatrix, and many more!

Register for this event by calling the library at 419-434-1077 or by visiting the children’s desk in the library.
